  1. I owned a 89 SSE for 10yrs got a bit tried of spending money on it ………….so I bought a 997 say no more
  2. Sorry to say I don't the 997 is a far better car all round where the SS was great to drive and looked great in everyway it wasn't used as a everyday car which was another reason to sell it the 997 is all yr round car...…….I can drive it everyday and its not locked away in a garage waiting for the dry weather to appear and after all its still a 911 but a modern one Also I had my SS 10yrs time to move on Mike
  3. It would be cheaper though and an all round the year car …..you make your choice
  4. This is the very reason I sold my Supersport I just didnt want to use it in the rain or bad weather , rust appeared from no-where and I just got tired shelling lots of money putting it right So I made the painful decision to get rid Now I have a car with no rust issues goes like stink use it right though the year and put money in bank Have no regrets Mike
  5. Bet that wont see any rain ,snow and sleet...………. Mike
  6. Hi Paul My word you have been busy Let me know when your on track I might pop over to Silverstone ……..if its Silverstone your going to Mike
  7. I had a 89 supersport for over 10yrs loved the car but only put 9k on the clock ,the car was never used I was always worried about rot and rust and hardly ever drove it in the rain , so I plucked up enough courage to flog it and get a more usable car with no rust issues ,so I bought a 2006 997C2 and I have to say the car is miles apart from the SSE , I have had it a month now and put more miles on the clock than I did in the SSE in a yr The 997 is a great car and I really pleased with it ,would I go back to a classic ……..no...……..done 20yrs with classics time to move on PS I know what your saying IMS worries on these cars ,mine has the later stronger brg so I hope I will be ok Mike Hope you like the piccy

  11. If I buy a 997 its got be a mint one I am not parting with my SSE if its not right Mike
  12. Looks like I could be on the way to a 997 , viewing two next week ……………………………………………...I hope I don't regret this So if anybody wants to buy a Supersport…………….it may be up for sale very soon Mike
