  1. You won’t be able to tell whether the pistons need replacing until you strip the calipers usually. Before doing that try exercising the pistons using a brake piston tool to push them back into the calipers a few times (remove pads, insert tool, push back, replace pads, press pedal, repeat). This is the best value tool I have ever bought https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/disc-brake-piston-spreader-0---65mm/
  2. Which airbox are you going for, the Eventuri?
  3. These aren’t usually a problem. Are you replacing the flexi? If so cut it off (hacksaw will do) just above the union and put a socket on it. This significantly reduces the chances of rounding off.
  4. That looks a good neat job to me and I’m sure it will seal properly.
  5. Thanks Ian, another vote in favour of building "softer" Billies. My problem with this is that I'm not actually sure what I ask them to build, hence the preference for Konis which have some adjustment (rebound) built it.
  6. They seem to quite like the 911K
  7. Indeed, but there are things that can be remixed. Oil isn’t one of them seemingly.
  8. It’s a first World problem isn’t it….
  9. I noticed this on Pelican and thought it worth sharing for interest. I think I knew the issue at a certain age of storage was with regard to the additive packs but didn’t know that once they fall out of suspension they cannot then be remixed or whatever the correct term is. https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/1192520-does-oil-expire.html

  11. Very nice, can’t beat an M3 for a daily……
  12. I think there might be one missing from there Stephen?
  13. Thanks Mark, that’s an interesting option and one I had forgotten. I guess the challenge might be in specifying softer, rather than buying Koni sports which are adjustable
  14. I have to agree. I’m also intrigued by the number of engine builders Singer has tried since starting, but guess that the Cosworth option looks fully developed, which may not have been the case with some others
