Electric Recaro Sports Seats

I have two black electric Recaro sports seats that are in original and as far as I can see unmarked condition - though they have been used! I think this style of Recaro was used in the 911, 964 and 944 but I could be convinced otherwise.
Leather is in really good condition, soft and supple and all working when removed from the car - though they have been dry stored for a few years. Now surplus to requirements, I can’t see that many examples around and prices are a bit all over. I have rear seats to go with them (I think)!
I’d welcome some views as to what they might be worth to someone who wants them.

Hot rod engine and gearbox values?

Nothing too exciting here, but over the last 12 months or so I've seen hot road 911 drivetrains asking prices with big numbers commonplace.

Such engines cost a lot of money, gearboxes too, so:

The hot engine in my Lola hillclimb engine is a nice spec and a bit unusual, so with the following specs what could it be realistically worth?

3.2 1986 base engine. Carrillo rods and ultra bolts, forged hi-compression pistons, Kent G60 cams and high rev springs.
Twin plug heads and electronic ECU, very lightweight flywheel
All rings, bearings, ramps etc all fresh.
All parts used for a safe 8500 rpm engine.

Flat fan custom made with stand alone alternator.

50mm PMO carbs and KN filters, as pic below. Custom equal length headers and silencers, no good for a 911!

Mag cased 915 trans with 4 gears fitted (deliberately) rebuild with several trick parts for strength by Mike Bainbridge, about 500 miles old.
LSD helical final drive. Currently arranged for mid engine installation. WEVO internal shift gate.

HELIX competition clutch with 'road spec' friction plate, proven to be bomb-proof.

In the spirit of continuing to keep she who must be obeyed happy I am getting rid of more stuff that will never be refitted to my car. The item in question this time is a 3.2 Carrera rear spoiler, engine lid and wiper assembly with motor. My SC came fitted with this when I bought it in 1998 and I didn’t know at the time it was the wrong item for the car. When I had the car bodywork done by Sportwagen in 2017 I fully stripped the spoiler and engine lid to be painted in the same colour as the car in case I ever wanted to put it back on the car. I also had a ducktail done. The duck will stay and the rest needs to go. It is still stripped but as the buyer will not want this colour it’s probably best sold as a full kit of parts so that the relevant parts can go straight in for paint. It’s in near perfect condition, the paint as you would expect from Sportwagen and the rubber spoiler is unmarked. The question is what is it worth? I’ve seen a few spoilers only for sale between £400-760 but this includes the engine lid and the wiper mechanism. Any ideas? Thank you

I have an as removed from car 3.0 SC engine - complete including injection system, headers etc etc. It's been out of the car for several years - was running well but that was a number of years ago. I've been keeping it warm and dry for a future project or a potential rainy day. Any thoughts on what it might be worth?

Value of Leda Adjustable Porsche 911 Front Struts and Rear Shocks ?

I have a set of Leda adjustable suspension that I used for several years on my 1974 race car. It has sat in my garage for a number of years, and during that time Leda have been in and out of business, but I understand that they are back again currently. They were very good and allowed easy change of 'hard and soft' settings during an event, but eventually I moved onto non adjustable Bilsteins.

Does anyone have an idea of value of these which are in good condition, but would need to go to Leda to service and replace adjuster knobs that have been warn by my trailer straps. They should fit straight on and were based on Koni front struts.

Any help appreciated

1980 SC Rolling Shell - Value?

All, I have a 1980 RHD SC rolling body shell with sunroof (well hole where sunroof should be). Shell was bought as a package and was intended to be used for a future Group 4 rally car. A straight enough shell but will require some new panels and some welding. Has black leather interior and full wiring loom. I've been keeping it warm and dry for a future project or a potential rainy day. There is no VIN or V5 - its simply the rolling shell. Any thoughts on what it might be worth?

Value of first generation front sports seats?

I have a pair of what I believe are genuine sports seats inc. rails (that came with my restomod project) that I am going to sell so looking for an idea of a fair value. I believe these are "first generation" ones '74-'80 as the first picture illustrates. The project vehicle has been off the road since the mid-80s and this is reflected in the great condition of the seats which show no signs of general wear apart from some damage to the drivers side bolster (last pic). There's a couple of other minor nicks in the leatherette/vinyl which I have close-ups photos of and other pictures all around both seats which I would attach when selling. The rest of the vinyl is in great condition as are the cloth (velour?) inserts. Given that these are 42-48yrs old they are in remarkably good condition, I feel.

once again here for help .

i have purchase a hard top for my 82 Sc targa it fits perfectly but am unable to secure . This is because the targa obviously has the hooks that clamp down but my hardtop has rollers as pics . Any help would be appreciated on how I secure this down . Or is there an adaption needed for the HT or car ? And does anyone have one for sale or knows where I can purchase one ( or pair )

also the inside has no handles to turn but only square spindle which I was told you turn with a socket ??? That you keep in glove box ,

Would be grateful for some guidance on the value of a set of wheels I'm looking to sell. They're period Porsche/Fuchs wheels removed from my 88 IB. At some point in the past they were refinished by Nick Moss of early911. They're WB widths, 7" front and 9" rears. Tyres are 205/55 16 and 245/45 16 rears, Conti SportContact 2 N2 rated. 5-6mm tread on all of them with nice even wear.

The wheels each have the odd chip and mark (aka patina!) but no kerbing or other damage. Gold centre caps are included. £2200?

964 Front Wing Compatibility

Does anyone know if 964 Front wings are compatible if earlier IB's

Appreciate that they have a wing mounted repeater; which is easily remedied.

My rationale being that they will me much newer than many many used IB parts and should have less rot...

To my novice eye, they look pretty much the same.

New Panels

The is a chap over on DDK who is making new panels. I had a long chat with him on the phone today and it all seems quite positive. I am having a sunroof delete panel off him. I shall report once it is in my hands.

He is doing bonnet extensions now and apparently has plans for all sorts of flares, bumpers and tails. He also says he is going to be casting ITBs and manifolds and is doing associated parts such as crank pulleys, trigger wheels etc

Can any one help me on the following

I have purchased some Fuchs 15s and now need the Center caps , what are the original ones and genuine ??? Some caps have x2 wholes in them and others don’t . None seem to have part no. On neither . I have a 82 Sc 3.0 targa. So would like the correct ones for the year.
