  1. I kind of wrote off 2020 for using the car. Enthusiasm was very low Anyway, FF to 2021 & everything is still stuff. But, sod it, am going to get some good use out of it for the feel good factor Aiming to get the car serviced in March/April & will have a few jobs done at the same time. N/S/F has a minor knock when cold??? 2 x minor oil leaks & to get my "Carrera" Decals sorted once & for all as the ones currently fitted are wrong. Positivity is the key & am determined to have a good year with the car Pic, so I remember what it looks like
  2. Heritage Insurance. £220 (65K value, agreed) £200 excess. 1500 miles. Had a total loss claim with Heritage 7 years ago & they paid out to the penny on the agreed value. Have stayed with them ever since as I know I am safe if the worst ever happens.
  3. I am pretty sure this is the original number plate for my 1983 3.2 Guards Red Carrera Sport. Now carries the number A899 BFS. 7. Received mine yesterday & fitted. Quick note - My 3.2 Carrera has a "lip" on the seat runner that needs to be ground down so the holder can fit. 2 minute job with a Dremel (Please excuse the dirty runners, These were cleaned after........... ) fullsizeoutput_1070 by Kevin Frost, on Flickr fullsizeoutput_1072 by Kevin Frost, on Flickr fullsizeoutput_1076 by Kevin Frost, on Flickr Cleaned............ fullsizeoutput_107f by Kevin Frost, on Flickr
  8. Been after one of these for ages
  9. Been looking for one of these for absolutely ages. Many thanks for the link
  10. Always liked the Z4 but has to be the coupé. Had 3 BMW's in succession now but all 3 series. E90 320d M Sport, E91 330d M Sport Touring & My current one, F31 320d M Sport Touring. The 330d was & is, my favourite out of the 3 with the F31 second. F31 is a lovely car but doesn't feel as solid as the E91. Zero problems with any of them other than routine maintenance. 11. My heart sank when I saw this. Had exactly the same happen to me 7 years ago now with a MK2 Escort RS Mexico. Was completely destroyed in 10 minutes. Hopefully it is repairable. The very best of luck.
  12. Crest bottom pointing to the valve = extra concours points
  13. Hi mate, had it replaced whilst it was in for it's service at Zentrum. They did suspect that it had Swepco in it. Was changed to standard Porsche oil & the box definitely feels easier to use
  14. Just had the oil changed in my 915. Has made a big difference
