Busybee....interesting you say you had trouble with the centre console on your 3.2. I had a look at the layout yesterday with a view to doing the rebushing next weekend. First problem I can foresee is how to remove the leather gearstick gaiter and centre console. Did you find any info anywhere to help, or did you figure it out yourself ?

    Engine Compartment light

It works. Nice to know I'm not the only one ! Strange thinking on behalf of the Porsche engineers though. If you have a problem engine wise and need some light, but can't run the engine to charge the battery....... I know, it's going to take a while to flatten a battery, can't see why they didn't use a push switch as on the doors and the luggage compartment lights. Suppose they had their reasons. Thanks for the help guys.

    Engine Compartment light

No, do they need to be on for it to work ?

    Engine Compartment light

Right, I've sorted the luggage compartment light, now to tackle the engine compartment light, which has never worked. The bulb is good, so it's not that. Taken the bulb holder/switch off and attached the wires to each end of the bulb, but nothing happening. Anyone know how this fits in to the wiring system ? There is no mention of it in the manual, and seemingly no fuse. OK, it's not a major problem, but nice to have everything working.

    Luggage Compartment Light Bulb

Seems to be a common problem. Think I'll just use a torch.......

    Luggage Compartment Light Bulb

As always mine just has to be different ! See, this is a bayonet bulb holder, not a festoon. Anyone else have this version ?

    Luggage Compartment Light Bulb

What is the correct bulb for the luggage compartment ( boot ! ) light ? Mine has never had one, and all the owners manual says is 10Watt. Is it the same as the sidelight bulb ?
