  1. Hi BB Definitely not me, as I'm not with PCGB. So... I have a doppelgänger 😮
  2. Looking fab and groovy! I must pop along and have a nosey at it 😁
  3. All good here, Andrew. Down to one 911 now... the SC, of course!
  4. Another fab project, Andrew! Must make a change to have one to drive around in whilst the work's in progress. Great colour, too, as many others have said.

Glad to know you've a clean bill of health FF. All Targa 'doings' are looking like brand new manufacture! Awesome!! ( Your old, spare SC front bumper has finally made it onto my car, you might be interested to know )

What a horrid and unexpected turn for this build thread to take. Really glad to learn that the sub-humans didn't take or damage anything... shame they left without a chance for your lovely hounds to sink their teeth into their scummy, thieving backsides. I hope you'll not be having any more such trouble. Looking forward to your thread getting back on-track and following this brilliant build

Knocking it right out of the park! This isn't just restoration... it's engineering art!! Just mind-blowing perfection!

Yummy pics of yummy work, FF! Can't wait to see this in the metal at a show, some time. On another note, your last project re-emerged for sale at that Scots car dealership a little while ago. Price was POA
  11. Are you on here, chap? I was in the white 964. Lovely looking car, Squire!
  12. Newsflash... yesterday on PH, there was an advert for an SC Targa in wine red at an unbelievable price... and a silver Targa at a sensible market price. The wine red car's ad looked hooky and was likely pulled, but the silver car's advert has also disappeared. There's minor rumblings in the Porsche press that SCs are due a move in value, so does disappearing adverts bear this out? I don't give a monkey's nut personally about SC values, especially as mine has more miles than Voyager 1, but is the sap rising once more, I wonder?
  13. Another with Phill ^^^ I started a thread on FB about this, and technical author Adrian Streather left the following comment… "Been on the front cover of my 911SC book since it was published 12 years ago (Super Carrera)...Porsche AG confirmed for me in 2004 what it stood for, but the non-believers will always be non-believers..."
  14. ...just got thrown back onto the fire for another roasting. It seems Porsche Deutschland's very own web portal refers to the SC as the 'Super Carrera'. Can we take this as unequivocal evidence or just spurious misinformation. I'm firmly of the opinion it means Super Carrera, wether applied to a 356 or a 911. Not that it's important or anything. (Yes, yes, yes, yes it is... isn't it?) http://www.porsche.com/germany/accessoriesandservices/classic/models/911-g/911-sc/

New front wings... kidney bowls... B posts... sills... glass-out respray... and when done, a clean-sweep of Classic Retrofit electronics and fuse boards...
