Absolutely ! so it just reinforces the need to carefully consider location info ? But if someone really wanted your car Im sure they would just follow you back to where you kept it and you would be none the wiser in that case you would never drive it again in public and only on very dark nights !

https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=1266482 On another car forum someone started a map showing where everyone was located using Zeemaps A free online mapping tool I thought it would be good fun to show where your fellow IB members were also ? Obviously for security reasons dont put your exact location but somewhere nearby would suffice we dont want any "tea leafs" to know where to come looking ! How to add yourself 1) Open the IB forum map using link above 2) Mouse over Additions, then select Add Marker - Detailed 3) Use your forum name as entry name and either add your nearest town or click on map to position marker 4) If you want to put car type details, maybe choose a colour marker to match your cars these will all help to make the map more fun ? Thanks for the advice Guys Took car for blast over weekend and suspected fuel leak has finally revealed itself after longish high speed motorway run I noticed slight fuel spotting onto driveway from NSR engine bank, armed with extinguisher investigated further with engine running eventually found small drip from fuel line coming from flexible hose section in engine bay looks difficult access and very close to hot engine parts ! Probably to risky to drive again so arranging recovery to local garage for thorough investigation Still dont understand why fuel smell only noticeable when tank half empty perhaps combination of faults on the fuel system ? Anyway thanks again

Dont know if anyone has had this problem on 1988 carrera 3.2 before but recently I have noticed a strong persistant smell of fuel in the cabin but this only occurs when : 1) the engines started and 2) the fuel tank is less than half full ? I have looked in around and under car and in boot and bonnet at all usual suspect places but cannot detect any leak whatsoever ! Obviously with engine started means system has to be pressurised first, wondering if tank has to be half empty might this suggest fuel breather / tank vent system is suspect ? unfortunately my technical skills are quite limited Of course "other half" dosnt see a problem as she says " keep tank filled up and dont start car "

As a newbie to I B forum, I wish to apologise as Im sure this question must have been asked before, here goes I have recently acquired 1988 Carrera 3.2 Coupe which would appear to have battery in good condition, Im about to go on two weeks holiday leave and am concerned the battery may drain down whilst parked on drive and set off the alarm in my absence to p*ss off my neighbours ! Alarm fitted is a Clifford 650mk2 with anti carjacking mode engaged ( annoying to say least ) does any member have similar experience or who could offer some advice other than contact specialist car alarm installer ?
