  1. Will pm you really the Bilstein shocks.
  2. Pad now off, just needed the right force in the right area. thanks rephoto. I don’t us a desk top, I tried on the iPad to copy paste but only allows a URL.
  3. Thanks for the help with the photo. It’s a bit of a faff to get my photos out of iPhoto and on to the web to link it. re the Pad, which is the important bit... I’m going to have another go at it.
  4. Oooo. That would be wonderful if you could.
  5. Hi, I’m trying to insert a photo but failing as it only allows urls in a some unknown format. Anyway links to a pic below. https://ibb.co/HC4hx6w I have tried to remove the horn pad (watched all I can on u-tube) but can see or feel how to do it. I have tried the rotation and pulling techniques but I don’t want to force it... it’s being a stubborn bugger. Any top tips?
  6. Initial quotes are back and the plan is forming as to who will do the body work... Has anyone sent their car abroad for the work, I have seen some specialists in Hungary, who do a lot of work on German and Austrian Porsche’s...? Any thoughts on this?
  7. Great find and love the interior trim.
  8. Hi, does anyone have a PDF of a 1976 owners manual or know where I can get one?
  9. Not sure there’s anyone left at Porsche... this is proving more difficult to find out than I thought it would....
  10. I saw this and was interested, my limiting factor is that it needs to have a lot of work done before it can drive to any Porsche centre for the assessment... brakes being main one. Lol I have mailed them and will let you know how I get on.
  11. Thanks Longman. so is there anyway to get your original specification?
  12. Sorry, Lakewell... Brain fart after writing Southbound... got me directions mixed up. https://www.lakewell.com/en/porsche/911/74-83/targa-top-rear-folding-arm-porsche-911-74-85 this is the replacement arm I’m considering.
  13. Hmmm. I cant seem to find out how to do this... Any ideas?
  14. I managed to break the rear right Targa strut whilst just looking at it... It had gone before and poorly repaired. I have dismantled the frame and looked into getting a replacement from Eastwell, made out of modern metal rather than cheese. I will recover the frame myself, but was wondering, which refurb kit is recommended? I have seen Eastwell and Southbound... Are there others? Which gives the best solution?
  15. Thanks, interesting. Yes, it was from Beds. It does have some great potential and a few concerns, but nothing that has me ashen white as yet. The spoiler will go and it will be back as close as I can afford to original, but I do want to use it. My plan is to go the June 2021 Sportive at Montchavin Les Cloches and run her up the hill... but as I have not got a date from the restorer this May be optimistic.
