  1. I have a spare joystick switch you are welcome to try to see if it works - drop me your address by PM and I will post it to you.
  2. I love opening the door with a key, suits the vintage of the cars I think. Does the passenger door do the same? Does either door make any noises as you unlock? First page of the bentley manual has an overview of central locking components and things to look for.
  3. Some Bowser vs Luigi weight advantages going on there! Congrats to Lilly.
  4. I'm a late starter on IRacing and only just started using it a few weeks ago and must say it really is superb. Would love to do some virtual racing with some fellow IB'ers if we can get something started? New memberships are on a black friday deal at the moment so no better time to give it a go! Interesting, sounds amazing! Could you share a link please?
  5. In short yes, will go straight in pretty much. Carrera 3.0 was 1976 & 77. A 1975 engine would most likely be a 2.7
  6. Front wishbones can actually be refurbed and a variety of bushes available - all the alloy parts come up lovely with a bit of vapour blasting. Before: If you are paying a premium for a nice car then make sure you give it a good look over inc paperwork and history. Dealer or private sale? Good luck viewing the car, shout if you have any questions.
  7. Yes very handy and it even makes sparks and a big BANG noise!
  8. insane machine, some interesting products developed that will hopefully trickle down.
  9. Yes I was looking at that thinking it could be quite a nice thing. The 3.2 looks like its installed with the factory ECU etc so a fairly modern powerful engine in a nice old bus. Bit too much money for me though for a use a few times a year kinda thing, I'd hate to insult him with an offer.
  10. Nice work Mr T - its sad when you start digging sometimes but better to dig than not. I might have a stud welder that sorts stuff like that in a flash
  11. Nice purchase, welcome to the automotec club Scissor lift weighing a stripped 964 shell: And cos I know I'll get asked.... Yes! Do it. Shout if you need a hand.
  12. fan-dabby-dozy - looks fantastic. I'm up your way this week - you about?
  13. Ahhh I was too slow - need a set of these! @big al what are your old ones like? Want to sell them
  14. Tidy drilling, hope they find a good home.....
  15. Ha brilliant - thanks Nige. If I give some a go I will report back.
  16. Too skinny and too low profile, would look odd and handle like a shopping trolley How old / worn are your rears? Perhaps a longer term view if the rears are already half worn / very old might see you move away from the Goodyear and fit a front tyre that will match a rear you will fit next year - just a thought. Nothing wrong with the goodyear, I ran them for many years with no complaints.
  17. So if you want to match the rears then you will have to go 205/55 which will give away a little ultimate grip bit will make the steering a bit lighter, feel a bit more nimble and provide a touch more tyre sidewall height and compliance. If you want to stick to the 225/50 then you will have to look at a different brand to the rears. 245/45R and 205/55F is a nice combo for road use.
  18. What size / brand do you have on the rear?
  19. Name a corner of the Nürburgring Nordschleife after Sabine Schmitz https://www.change.org/p/nürburgring-1927-gmbh-co-kg-name-a-corner-of-the-nürburgring-nordschleife-after-sabine-schmitz
  20. Agreed, however she certainly packed in some living during her shortened life 😒 RIP you little belter!
  21. Oh-sh1t - that needs sorting. Those blue things - put them in the bin, they have no place on a Porsche. Get some proper crimpers and crimped connectors and do it properly 😉
  22. 912E diagram... 912E_Wiring_Diagram.pdf I'd start by switching bulbs around and see if the problem moves with the bulb.
  23. Cheers @Nige, not used Foamex before does it accept staples ok?
  24. A timely reminder as I need to do a pair soon - thanks. https://southboundtrimmers.com/files/Trade Pricelist 2021.pdf
