  1. Get that V4 out of it and put a two stroke 🙂 Seriously though always cool to see one that isn't hiding in USA
  2. Thanks Richard for updates. Whenever it will be, looking forward to the trip!
  3. Im currently working with a string of Chinese manufacturers and as of last week they are all fully operational at full capacity. Wait and see is definitely right approach here.
  4. I don't think ive managed to book a single Hotel on the list apart from the last two but excited for the trip to come
  5. In 1997 I was 18, my dad just sold his Lotus Carlton which I still bemoan to this day. I drove around in a very rusty but much beloved Volvo Amazon 123GT and hooned about on a Honda CM125 that required a push up some hills in the Highlands and I was 9 years away from 911.
  6. Only took 7 years to get back in another 911 not quite IB but once IBer always IBer :-)
  7. Would love to join, please put me down (will look into other thread for booking)
  8. Indeed I do, my bullnose just gone for restoration and still have a racer which is getting very dusty. Quite an eclectic mix these days on top of the saabs, american 1936 Cord 810, 1960 Alfa Giulietta Sprint, 1960 SII Land Rover Dormobile, 2 door Range Rover with interesting history, Lancia Fulvia Fanalone and plethora of motorcycles as always. @jevvy believe it or not I'm 40 next month. how did that happen?
  9. Glory Days @topcarrera and thank you for a warm welcome back!
  10. Ahoy ! Time flies indeed. Always plenty of projects and always too many! About to buy a 911 but not an IB ('65 SWB) thought I'd come "home" however. IB Forever after all
  11. Wow my Login still exists! Good to see there is plenty of Impact Bumping still going on!
  12. Only just arrived from Scotland last night after an epic drive so unfortunately wont make it.
  13. Im coming either from Reading or Greenwich London, in yet another Lancia. Happy to give anyone a lift.
  14. Just catching up with this thread. Amazing work Mr.P, looking forward to hearing it!
  15. Found 2 SCs in Minerva to see, one the weekend after this and one in March in Netherlands. Both look good. We shall see
  16. Pencil me in for this one. Might have an IB again by then
  17. Great stuff Perks, just been catching up on your thread. Fantastic progress, it's all coming together
  18. Yup - I did say it was a temporary fling, hehe. If that's the car I'm thinking - it's too good for me and too much money.
  19. I think most of the pre-fiat Lancias have climbed up in value enormously over the last 5 years. I still have an Aurelia B20 GT on my list but they are touching £100k for a nice car now. I remember looking at one in highlands of scotland for £10k 10 years ago, but I was a student then with £1 and a macaroni pie in the pocket :-) Where have they all gone as well? There used to be tons of Fulvias for sale, now there is hardly any. I totaly agree about appreciating the finest engineering in different cars. HAHA! If that was a Skoda i'd say somebody filmed my infamous accident, except instead of soft grass there were hard rocks :-) I'm not planning on doing any of that in this car, it probably has never seen rain in it's life.
  20. Its a 1970, series 1 car but still with full aluminium bodywork, presumably surplus one from the early runs. Increased compression and different cams as far as I know. Later cars had 101bhp as standard anyway. The engine has genuine 89,000 miles on it and the bottom has never been apart. Taking that the first owner was Brian Long (author of many Lancia books) and the second is Nigel Hargreves (Lancia mechanic) I'm hoping for a great car. Said to be the best S1 Zagato in existence, well it has to be if you take my luck into consideration, it might start ... just :-) Didn't know there are Lancisti on this forum, will keep an eye out for a Flavia. Here is some more pics Whos selling the tidy SC?
  21. Thanks John. Didn't even get a last drive in the Dangermobile as it just refused to start, yet fired up straight away for the new owner. That car must have had a grudge against me.
  22. Yup its a two stroke Sport. :-) Zagato is a gem - 890kg and 110bhp out of 1300cc engine, if it wasn't that nice I'd take it on the track.
