    Now thats a great idea, i really do like the speedsters, and the speed thing would not bother me. Have had 3 Turbo's 2 targs and 4 sc,s and a couple of 993's over the years but never a speedster.I doubt the come up for sale very often.

    Thanks John, I will be back in a 911 soon on the lookout now for something interesting. have took a bit of stick from some w*****s on piston heads but Neil deserves the car at the price he has offerd, He,s a nice guy too.

    Thanks Digger, These difficult times have netted me a bargain with this property, no so for the builder who went bust and his bank desperate to sell and get the cash in, 18 apartments at about £145 k each will return me over £2.5 mill, may be when the project is complete i will hunt her down and buy her back , or you could sell me yours

    To be honest digger i have just purchased 18 un finished apartments for over £1 mill off the receiver and i could do with the extra cash. Its breaking my heart to sell it but is was the last to go, sold my Aston ,BMW 840 and my Ferrari this year also. When i have finished this project i will get another one .

    It was going to Switzerland for £45k but Neil at the Hairpin Company made me a last minuite offer i could not refuse, he tells me he purchased the Black LE Turbo with 200 miles on the clock also. He has a thing for LE Turbo's and far to much money ,you should see his stock , he has some fantastic cars.

    In a moment of madness i have agreed to sell my LE Turbo,The dealer collects the car on Monday i was putting the car away for it's winter hibernation and realised i had only used it a few times this year, still only has 22,000 miles on the clock.     Hi Kenny Raven , John Ward should know his stuff, he has been running the Turbo Register for Porsche Club UK for many years , a realy nice guy, I sold hin a green 930 Turbo many years ago and had a RUF SCR off him. that RUF was a great car, John have you any pictures of the Turbo and the RUF ? My interior is very much like yours but i do not have boost controll. center console different

    Kenny, when i took my car for a service, I saw this special order 1986 turbo it belonged to a member of Judas Priest the rock band,The steering wheel was different to mine also the center console where the aircon control is. It did not have the 4 exhausts or the same front spoiler housing the oil cooler, the sides look the same as yours, He said it was 1 of only 14 in the UK ?

What mods have you done to make it run 2 Bar Here is the Porsche press release Porsche 911 Turbo Limited Edition The technical specification of the car is the same as 1978 - 1989 Turbo with the following options. The is a copy of the Porsche Marketing Bulletin dated 9/12/88 No: 75/88/2 We are pleased to confirm the details of the Porsche 911 Turbo Limited Edition available from March 1989 production. Each of the 50 examples will be built in Couple body style. Their specification offers a highly attractive combination of road-going performance with subtly distinctive exterior and interior enhancements. Engine and Exterior Refinements. The 911 Turbo Limited Edition comes equipped with the 330 bhp power unit normally only available in the 911 Turbo with Sport Equipment. In addition, the fitment of a limited slip differential as standard ensures the the increased engine performance can be used to it's fullest extent. This Limited Edition also adopts the rear wheel air intakes of the Sport Equipment version. However, the "Exclusive" front spoiler (with integral oil cooler) has not been available previously on a production car. Retail Price and Availability The Total Retail Price for the 911 Turbo Limited edition will be £84,492.42. This represents excellent value, especially when compared with the cost of ordering this number of 'high value' options separately. As this is a strictly Limited Edition of only 50 models, initially each Centre will be allocated one vehicle. You could try this Contact Peter at www.camcoat.com I had mine ceramic coated, i had a performance coating on the inside and camchrome coated on the outside for looks realy, you could just have the inside done, Great service, Very quick turn around, the heat exchangers can be coated also but i had SS. I also used Richard at Turbo Thomas to make a free flowing muffler very pleased with his work.
  14. It does seem to be faster and more responsive when warmed up, less turbo lag, stays on boost longer, due to the 1 bar spring, removed the air injectors and pump, also fitted new rear muffler which i am told allows free flowing. anyway it looks nice. Made by Richard at Turbo Thomas
