Bye bye Christine!

Looks like a nice buy Tank ?

Thanks Lewis, It's a hoot to drive. Yesterday and today, roof off, hat, scarves, gloves and, because it hasn't got the "must  have" carbon fibre bucket seats all the stupid journos kept going on about, heated sport seats on full along with the stereo all the way to 11. Brilliant.

good looking car but why the black tarpaulin  for a roof? ^_^

Is camping loitering with intent?

I have it on good authority from the most reliable of sources that this car has similar rarity value to the IB Speedster. As in numbers produced and the fact that, for the journos at least, it wasn’t a welcome addition to the Porsche family at the time. Therefore, a tad misunderstood and slightly unpopular perhaps?

Certainly this feeing is borne out by the fact that the dealer network we’re discounting ? Spyder and specifying cars for stock.

It’s also possible that, whereas most kids of our era likely had either a Countach or a 911 as their poster of choice, today’s Super/Hyper Car Market gives a plethora of choice for the bedroom wall fantasy car. So, if the exclusivity of a Chiron is off the scale in terms of affordability, will the exclusivity of a limited production Spyder appeal to the next generation in the same way the current Speedster does to IB fans?

Not sure about the next generation?  Think we may be heading for an age of beards and eco-boredom .....

I think you've made an inspired choice,  out of interest how many were built?

Your 930 seems a bargain for the right person.
