couple of vids from the local parking lot DE.

Just ordered a set of 15"x11" and 14" race wheels for 12" and 15" wide bias ply slicks.

Next phase optimise the set up for the track.

Insane car!

thanks Fred sure feels that way driving around with ear plugs in.

But thankfully mostly it goes unnoticed when I drive it on the street. :whistling:

No the new video funds keep gettting taken by something more important...

the big wheels and slicks, some more suspension work..

Current camera is my 7 year old Sony video camera.

I think most the problem with my vids is the host site that over compresses the videos.

I have heard there are better host sites.

The in car camera I'm considering should be availabe in a week or two.

It's a 1 to 4 camera system with data called DIVA made by Chase cam.

One feature I like is the intant on feature, when you start the car the camera starts recording.

I'm trying  to hold off till I sell :twocents: some spare wide race rims before I buy something else for the car.

how can I complain I just have this black mistress my wife tolerates.

big black got a sweet trap door style fuel cell today. 27 gallon.

I keep a 200 mile tow card so the spare won't be missed.

I'm overdue for a track day.

R to RSR has a great looking 917 rim, comments, experiance?

I prefer the 5 bolt fakes, anyone run these at the track?

This was a pleasant surprise.

Link to my 911 article.

Scissor lift mock up new rims and slicks.

These 12.5 inch wide front slicks were too wide, need to return them for 11s.

Next track event Halloween weekend. :steering:

Get out and drive them before the wet weather.

old vs new cup car... ;)

Imagine a $250k cup car, cost to run about $2k an hour, too rich for my checkbook.

And you're right up there with him!!

Why do you have to be the camera-man each time? Get someone else to take a vid of your car going round so we can savour all the angles. Yes? Yes! :)

Cheers toyou, with an experianced driver the Cup car would of ran away quickly form my hot rod.

In fact as I chased the cup car he drove baiscally off line, dust swirling up behind his car.

I was amazed that the Cup car could stick that well in the marbles, while I worked my hardest on line to stay with him.

I thought he was mocking my old car. :glare:;)

there was this one video, above the wind noise you can hear my car as I stretch Pat out a couple of times.

This track is Streets of Willow, very tight, I like longer sweepers.

My latest used car.... this track prepped blue 2002 ZO6.

Nice little monster for only $20k.

These US tracks don't have much run-off do they..... :P

Looks like a very safe way to explore the limits of the car.

Just out of curiosity, how much do track days in the US cost and how much is insurance cover? Just trying to gauge it against the UK.

Great car by the way Michael, looks and sounds like a proper beast.
