The AIR RSR kit was less than $4k, but I have more than 5x that in body work to make it nice.

This 911 that helped me drop my Cal Look VW habit.

Stance obsession is a carry over from your vw days, no?

I like how you think though, building & modifying the bodywork around the mechanicals.

When you say Stance?

It makes me think of perhaps more a parking lot bench racer? ;)

Lowering the front adding caster shims and getting some 145 size front tires was the first mod I did to my 63 VW bug as senior in High School.  :D

I tried to set up my VW stance to transfer weight and still be driveable at 110 mph while drag racing on a quarter mile.

Imagine basically no front shock rebound to get the wight transfer at the start line, but then 10 seconds later 100mph in a bug with no front shocks. :o

So allow me to pollute this thread with 2 of the 25 bugs I've owned.

Videos of my red sunroof racing.

Me in the red bug with a white helmet with a 2 step MSD rev limiter.

John always a pleasure to enjoy your company. Please do visit us again in San Diego again soon! :)

Bring the family and explore San Diego while staying in our guest room.

Let's multitask together.:D

I'll grill something tasty while from in the pool you can chill and shoot the car at the same time. ;):D

Tell Jamie I said hi and to look us up if he gets down to San Diego.

It was a treat to watch and see the results Jamie achieves with his camera and lighting.

Your feature was my favorite photo shoot ever!

That day we actually just had a casual meeting for beers and a hamburger.

Then on the way home you guys said lets shoot the car, you guys know how to keep it stress free. :):)

Wow, that's a fine looking motor car!

I wish I could park my car by the pool.  In fact I wish I had a pool and weather for it!

Found a photo of the RSR+ on the website for my favorite Track club, place called the Thermal Club.

Located in the desert near Palm Springs California.

Perfect weather in the high 70s, no wind or or rain, typical weather for our deserts in the winter.

Last weekend raced there for 3 days. (in my other race car)

2 Practice sessions.

2 Qualifying sessions.

1 Warm up session.

2 Races.
