Guess it was the first of the 911 range to rely on more engine muscle to shift the extra comfort weight along haven't seen that, always love a track car conversion so will have a search for it. BenC Posted September 11, 2019 Author Share Posted September 11, 2019 First track day in ages and loved it! Car went great all day and the thrashing around circuit freed up the stuck fuel gauge! (had forgotten how crap the headlights were! had forgotten how offset the accelerator pedal is! had forgotten how crap the wipers are! but none of those mattered anyway!) had some exhaust bits made a while back as had previously been cautioned on drive by noise limits. BenC Posted April 27, 2021 Author Share Posted April 27, 2021 Great day had a Mallory Park last week - weather was amazing!!! Small track and only about a 1 min per lap, but always fun to try out another circuit, with plenty of overtaking to be had. It was run by Javelin and have to say that from a Covid point of view it was really well organised, in fact the whole day was run really well. Only a couple of Porsches on the day and my fav image is of me skinning a 996!!!
