Been reading a few scare stories about the damage that the ethanol now being added to petrol can do to older fuel lines and systems. As a precaution I added a can of Wurth petrol additive the other day when taking the Speedster out for the first fill up of the season. Not sure if that's enough though, anyone got any thoughts on how best to protect our cars?

I have also heard of problems with braided fuel lines, in fact I have a car coming in next week that we fitted all new lines to about 2 years ago and he now has a problem with fuel leaks. I will be fitting non-braided lines. I don't know whether it's the fuel or additives causing the problem, but from anecdotal evidence it is getting worse.
