IIRC from when I picked them up they weigh 1.5kg each so the string is probably stopping them from blowing away :D

Compensation for the horses that have bolted from Fred's engine then :ani_clapping:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Could go for it's MOT now. Sill covers and front infill pieces to do. Big washer bottle not working, but intensive one is.

Here's before and during, but 'after' still seems a long way off...

The day I picked it up, complete with 930 tail and front spoiler, sharkfins and bizarrely, 7x15 front and 7x16 rear Fuchs

Thanks. It's a long story, which starts about here in my project thread.

Short version: I found some used Autofarm bumpers on eBay. While the rear is as I found it, the front is a DIY job, inspired by the SCRS

They look AWESOME! :signs118:

In fact the whole car looks great, especially on those Fuchs - am I right in guessing they're 7/8x15?

These are the oldest I can find at the moment, but prior to this it was on black centred Fuchs with 4 x 4 suspension:

Then moved onto this - cup mirrors and flat lid:

To how it looks now ~180 kg lighter

Flat lid, Sebrings and cappable triple pipes:

Spot the difference time.....

Then, just after I bought it. About 8 years ago with 43k miles on the clock:

And now, on the Mille Miglia run back in May with about 68k on the clock:

The outward differences are the wheels and the stance. Plenty of mechanical refurb but little outright modification.
