Andy - I thought I got a couple of you, perhaps it was another GT3.... they all look the same to me...! :D

Very funny

The other Silver Mk1 was I think, one of those track day experience cars. Very slow, so he was obviously easier to photograph :D

I'll have a copy of the one you took, if possible please. Very nice. Mike Wilds driving at the time.

Jevvy,

I spoke to a very happy little scottish person last night, who was very complimentary about your car and driving. But he did say that you were very hard on the barkes, not wearing them out before I get my hands on them are you

Ian

Hehe, we may have to re-negotiate as the front pads are close to the edge!

Anyone can look good driving a 911, I'm still very much in novice territory & my car is very flattering I suppose - hope to be up to speed as soon as possible however, tracks are very more'ish and I wana cram is as much as I can this year with some tuition along the way.

There is a hi-res version on the Flickr account.

I think what i'll do is upload them again, but upload the full hi-res versions - I upgraded my Flickr account so that should be OK now, previously I had a bandwidth and quantity limit. I'll have a bash at sorting it out over the weekend. You can all then download the ones you want.

In fact, maybe another way would be to open a IB Flickr account that we can all upload to?

Are they red calipers or hot discs :revs:

What you can see are the red calipers. However, it all gets pretty hot despite Motorsport cooling ducts. At one stage I did have the near side front brakes smoking quite heavily when I came in to the pits :o

Brand new pads mind, so lots of brake dust clogging the drilled discs & getting even hotter.

He's in control

You cheeky young scamp.

Sounds a good idea if possible

Now you're just being modest. When we went for a spin the other day in Reading, you held the car pretty perfect in the corners from where I was sitting. It's a great car as well though. Driver and Car made me feel extremely pedestrian following in my 3.2. Great laugh nonetheless :ani_clapping: (and thanks for all the help and regards to Bruno)

Don't hold your breath. It took Rick about a week to get the pictures from Oulton Park up on his website. You can look at those while you're waiting if you like - a few pictures of a VERY FAST Silver Mk1 GT3, with black wheels, included :whistling:

To quote Rick "The navigation bars are a bit flakey at the moment but from page 2 you should be able to use the next and back buttons to navigate"

Pictures are on the website :signs118:

Car of the day for me :) What a giant slaying machine and it sounded like thunder. Must have had some crazy BHP to slay those Ferraris and RSRs

my vote to for best car of the day also, I spoke to the chap about the car, all you can see is fibreglass except the roof, so itys probably not as heavy as it looks, a proper old thundersaloon in all respects :ani_clapping:

I helped the owner and the head mechanic push this into the pit lane, to take 'For Sale' pictures under the bridge after the rest of you had gone home. They were both sick of the sight of it, as it hadn't wanted to start all morning, and wouldn't run again after its short track excursions. They couldn't wait to be shot of it :o

Northys pics look better IMO ;)

I agree, reillystudios ones are very generic.

+2. Lewis, your pics are great mate ;)

Dangerous - why did you take your ARBs off before you went out and what have you got against apexes? :o LOL

OK, I think we have exhausted this topic!

Well done everyone: drivers, passengers and photographers. Brilliant day and here's to the next one. If you're not coming to Spa I expect to see you all at Snetterton :D

Just been informed that Reillystudios (official photography on the day) are putting out the pictures on their website by the end of the day. www.reillystudios.co.uk

Get your fancy new Avatar Dr Danger! You're really moving up in the world aren't you? I need some professional photography on mine too, rather than my amateur effort.
