Yeah good point. A lift and compressor would still come at at under 1k so definitely worth a look.

I also found some lift/tilt thingies for about 400-450, that hold about 1500kg and can be raised by hand on a screw thread (or with a drill). Would probably work for me most of the time, but the bigger lift whilst a bit more spendy would give better flexibility and looks way cooler too.
