Mechanically pretty much the same as a 3.2 Supersport. Although touted as having turbo running gear in reality this is limited to the brakes and rear suspension arms, the torsion bars are stock 3.2 Carrera and the dampers are Boge, so not too firm a ride. Roof leaks in heavy rain below 65 mph, but TBH most driving is done on nice days with no roof. Some parts are no longer available. Chronically undervalued at present...

No cooler car than one of these on a hot sunny day.

I love the look of a wide body speedster

Jeremy what parts are NLA?

Between my two projects I should have enough bits left over to do either a wide body 3.2 or 964 conversion if I can find a windscreen and door glass

I've always much preferred the narrow version, as it seems more suited to the minimalist style I envisage for a Speedster

Al, I agree but I was using man math on my stash of left overs

964 turbo front/rear bumpers + 930 or/and narrow bodied 964 front wing/rear quarter panel moulds + 964 complete manual conversion parts pile + mould for Recaro SPG seat + set of 18" BBS E88 996 GT3 RSR wheels

take the square root of what Speedster parts are available parts and multiply by the power of a 964 tiptronic/auto targa or cab car

= something interesting without a roof
