That in mind and we all know how expensive that is, think they’re probably worth half of what you mention Axel. Sorry buddy. ?

Why don’t you just put a price them, load up some photos (cause everyone likes photos lol ?)and as much info as you have and sell them like most on here? Job done and you won’t be offended. ?

By the way, if you had some data to show the engine was in good order, I don’t think the price you mention is unreasonable. One guy is trying to sell a 912 engine, no gearbox for 15k euros on a Facebook group. It’s the risk factor of an unknown and the potential cost to put right that must surely impact the price?

I think £5k for the engine and £2.5k for the gearbox is more realistic unless of course you can provide a bill from a reputable specialist for the engine rebuild work At the end of the day they are both only worth what someone will pay you

I recently bought a 3.2 with 915 gearbox for 7,5k and had it rebuilt by Dave at RSR. So yeah, 18k for a rebuilt engine is realistic. I would pick this up if I didn't have one already
