Gents,

can I pick your brains on suitable pricing for these wheels as I haven't really got a clue. I looked on ebay but the prices are all over the place so hard to know where to pitch in.

I have 2No. genuine 7x15 Fuchs wheels and 2No. 9x15 Replica lightweight Italian Fuchs rims for sale, all with used Toyo R1-R tyres on (plenty of tread). See pics here:- https://flic.kr/s/aHskrDaqUR

The wheels could do with a light resto,  particularly the 7's as the lacquer has a couple of milky patches as seen in the pics. The 9's are in great nick other than a small scuff on one of them. They are super light, minimum 2kg per corner lighter than my genuine 8x16 Fuchs!

Thanks in advance

MJ

Is £450 in used notes any good?

Afraid not, sorry.  I won’t be selling them at a loss!

Any ones guess these days.  Guessing £800-1000 for the pair of genuine items then maybe £150-200 each for the reps?!?

It was a bit tongue in cheek :-)

If someone wants to get them refurbished professionally it will cost them £600+ depending on the finish they want (painted, powder coated, anodised etc)

I guess the price you ask should be what you are happy to get for them plus a bit of haggle room

Cheers

Are the 7s anodised?  Date matched?  Might be easier to see if sold separate from the 9s.

For wheels only, find out how much new 7x15s go for, then go 50% ish dependent on what the finish is.

Fakes are trickier, what are they - 200-250 new?

I was thinking about £300 for the pair of 9's as think that's what I paid for them (without tyres)  but need to find my old paperwork. The fronts maybe £600 for the pair? Considering most ebay ads have them for £450 upwards for a single wheel, whatever their state!  Do those prices sound reasonable?  I hardly ever sell my Porsche bits so i'm not very good at it!

I am only selling these as I no longer flick between two sets of rims for track etc. and they are getting in my way in the garage.

If any of you DDK'ers hear someones after 7x15's let me know, ta :)

Mark these seem sensible prices to me.  Not sure why but I think good 7s are slightly more scarce/sought than 8s with the 15" wheels;  given current asking prices then £600 should generate interest.  Good luck!

Racers innit. IIRC narrow classic race cars can use them but not the 8’s.

Found my old emails, The 9’’ rears only weigh 7.8kg each, great rims really. I ended up paying £325 for them without tyres, so think £350 with the Toyos mounted is a fair price.

Thanks for the advice on the 7’s maybe I’ll put them up for £350 each and gauge the interest.

Interesting - I didn’t think a -3 offset fit on narrow bodies, unless copies have a different offset?
