Selling 930

Recommended Posts

Think the time may have come when i will sell my 87 930.

Anybody got any ideas re best way to go about this? I don't really want to do a private add and invite tire kickers and test pilots.

Does anyone know a good reputable broker or similar person i could get in touch with preferably in the Essex, Suffolk area

Many thanks

Trevor

JZM are pretty close in Kings Langley and RPM are a bit further away in Tring - I have only had dealings with RPM and was very happy as a buyer.

Arthur Daly, Front Line Cat D cars, Shepherds Bush............................:ninja:

Alternatively another option  to those already mentioned  is 911 Virgin.

Good luck

Hi all

I am not 100% sure i want to sell at the moment. I have had the car about 8 years now and just don't use it very much.

I am getting another 997 this year which will mean the car is used even less. Just keeps nagging at me that there is a lump of money sitting in the garage that i could use for other car related projects. Trouble is i know that as soon as it goes i will regret it. I sold my 72 about 18 months ago to fund building work on the house so money not wasted but still wish i had the car.

Sad to hear you are thinking of selling but understand the rationale

Why not put a decent description and some pics up on here first, be nice if it can stay in the community. Also a few of us know people looking for cars so can spread the word to non idiots.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.

I agree you are often just as well off advertising privately in this market. Worth a go: easy filter out the idiots on the phone.

I like Paul Stephens but never sold anything through him, bit far away from London is the only downside. You could talk to Dave at DSD Motorwerks and see if he knows anyone looking.

The alternative is that if it is really nice and lots of Porsche history then talk to your local OPC.

HI there I assume you sold the car as the opening post is very old - if not please let me know, as I’m looking for either a 930 Turbo or. Super sport - thanks :)
