Hello all. For my RoW 89 coupe, I am looking to redo the sport seats with a particular fabric that might be unobtanium. I have attached a picture of the fabric.
I would appreciate any input as to how I would go about sourcing this item. Thank you.

Thats not pin stripe

With the multiple shades in the OP's photo it's hard to tell what the real colour is. Some bits are in the sun but through the windscreen glass, some are tinted (by the windscreen's top band?) and some are in the shade.

True pin stripe is alot wider about 15mm, that looks to be about half that

Pinstripe;

Looks like you've cracked it! It could well be the flannel pinstripe, which is thinner than the velour pinstripe. Pretty rare mind. As you say, difficult to see what colour it really is

Really nice fabric, they look great!

Slightly strange suggestion but have you considered buying a used set of sports seats and getting them recovered in the fresh fabric rather than your fairly rare originally seats?

How bad are the current ones, look quite nice in the pic.

or get enough fabric and get a suit made to match!? 😂😂😂😂

Isn’t that what Clubbie seats were done in? Sure I looked at one once with that fabric. Do like it.

straying off topic but... not sure if the fabric leans itself to it but imagine showing up to some evening Porsche do in a lounge suit made from the Pascha fabric...

There is a US company that make car themed socks, even in Pasha.

Looks like it could possibly be the same as mine, which is officially called greyish green flannel. Or greenish grey, strange that it is such an unspecific term for an interior colour.

You guys have scared the OP off with all your crazed talk of socks and jumpers.

These guys have some rare stuff but can’t see the one you’ve shown above

It looks like you've found the fabric elsewhere, but I just thought I'd pitch in to say that I've used werk 924 before for fabrics and was really pleased with the quality and match.

@w00t911 hello, just curious, did you end up sourcing the material? I actually have the exact same one and reached out to many folks…seems very hard to get.

I do believe it’s Pin strip flannel…perhaps it’s anthracite (grey) but can’t seem to find it on any Porsche OEM interior colors.  My car is 1984 944 na…

thank you

Thank you @sopor

design 911 don’t have it.  Waiting to hear back from Lakewell and finest care…they all seem to have other colors of same variation…pin stripe flannel…but none or really hard to see if they have same color as light gray!!  Starting to wonder if that color was made in 1986 of if it much older…even than tried looking at older year OEM catalogues…still hard to find!

cheers
