Guessing I’m out of the loop - assuming a get together for ‘discerning types’?

Open invite or do you need a specific car/year?

That Maxige is the one with the previously  mentioned Singer at FoS, I believe.

Some nice vids about Luftgekuhlt on YouTube SP. Jeff from home built by Jeff visited year before last. If you watch his YouTube Porsche vids that is.

Huge gathering of air cooled cars in California. They seem to go from all over the US to attend. Think you can just rock up and view. The display cars are by invitation I guess.

Would be great if it comes to the uk 🇬🇧

I registered yesterday and the organisers just emailed this across;

Luft GB: Bicester Heritage

mail?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgallery.mailchimp

We are thrilled to announce that Luftgekühlt will be crossing the Atlantic and landing at Bicester Heritage, Oxfordshire, UK on Sunday July 29, 2018.

#LuftGB will be our first overseas event and together with our motoring and racing friends from across the pond, we will be channeling the informal, fun spirit of the early versions of Luftgekühlt to tell a new Luft story. There is a wealth of incredible Porsche history in the UK, and we will be bringing out some of the greats of the air-cooled era including the 1968 911 T/R Chassis #118 2 0884 pictured above – more on that to come!

Our venue for this event is the exceptional Bicester Heritage development, a former WW2 RAF Bomber Training Station. As the only hub for historic motoring of its type and scale in the world, and with over 35 specialist motoring businesses onsite, Bicester has a lot of heart. Its aesthetic, grit and heritage will frame the Luftgekühlt story in a perfectly British way.

Like past shows, Luft GB will feature a blend of curated, invite-only air-cooled Porsche rarities and ticketed enthusiasts’ cars. There will be a limited number of slots to fill within the event and they will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to the ticketed air-cooled only parking within the show, there will be a separate Porsche-only surface lot on-site, and ample general parking.

We have been totally humbled and blown away by the passion and support for our events Stateside and we are looking forward to sharing the love with our community of friends in the UK. We hope to see you there!

Registered!  If it’s anywhere close to the US version there should be some very special equipment there

Thanks for the heads-up Ian

Yeah sorry I’ve done that. Was just felling left out as my registration didn’t result in the same as everyone else’s 😊

All booked.

In case anyone is unsure as to the quality of the events they lay on this link details the last on in the States.  I believe the one at the end of this month is Bicester is the first time they have been to Europe so hopefully some significant machinery will be attracted

Been following them on IG for some time now, had even been considering flying to the States next year to make it to the next event. Great they’re coming to the UK. But really gutted I can’t make it on the 29th!
Please have an ice cream for me.
