Fiat twin cam motor is a cracker.

+1  Prior to the advent of the latest generation electronically managed multivalve units the Lampredi t/cam has to be the best 4 cylinder production engine ever .........

Used to be Frankies - now they do Dinitrol work.

Once I've swapped my front wings out I'm going to take mine there.  Circa £500 I think.

Thanks for the link, will check them out when the current protection has worn away a little. The specialists wax-oiled the whole underside and injected the sills etc so I’m good for a while.

Im thinking of getting some good paint protection too to avoid daily abuse and UV Rays etc to keep it looking minty :)

Frankie painted engine lid on my old slate grey 964 as well as full windows out respray on my red 964, proper old school painter. Dave did the rust & panel work. They're both petrolheads and trackies - Frankie has got a nice 318 hotrod with a 6 cyc 2.8 transplant as well as a custom pickup with monster engine on site.

Both very capable but weren't pulling in enough for the effort they put in hence the new Dinitrol project. Charles at Auto wax works in Bicester Heritage used to work with frankie too. DM me if going there and I'll put in a word.

cheers guys, yeah its in mint condition and looks to be well looked after by previous owner since for last 14 years :)

I'll have to man up and force myself to use it in the winter as I p-exed my freelander sport for it, plus that was part of my reasoning for man-maths purchase justification to swmbo .:D it is 4wd after all ;). I got the specialists to wax-oil the whole underside for me too as part of the deal.

Now to resist turning it into a Martini Lancia San Remo :-

Slipping easilt into my "Grale Pedant's Hat" the Martini scheme's on Deltas are all particular the the model of Delta. So 8V, 16V and Evo all have different patterns.  The one above was only used on the 1989 San Remo, it was a new scheme for the introduction of the 16V model, but it was found it didn't work on film so a new pattern of stripes was designed based on a white car.

Drew Pritchard and his mate wrapped a 16V in an Evo pattern of stripes on their TV show recently, it  looked most odd.

Took some better pics at the weekend (in between the rain showers!)  Scrubs up nicely. :)  Got to say any IB owner would love one of these. Though maybe not as quick, they have a sublime steering feel and the handling is amazing in the twisties. The steering is so delicate yet weighted nicely, I can steer with my finger tips. Whether they are worth the asking prices is a difficult one, probably not,  as all sought after classic cars now have stupid price tags. plus these have been going up 11% each year for the last few years.  Love the feisty engine in these, sounds great through the tubular manifold. Everywhere I drive I get thumbs up, waves or jaws dropped at seeing one :D

I love the 80's fighter jet cockpit look of the dash at night, green backlit with yellow dials and clocks
