Con Rods

Num 3 cylinder big end bearing has failed and the shell bearings

have turned in the con rod making it useless.

Now the hard part to find out why, oil pressure was good 3-4 bar.

May have to remove all galleries blanking plugs. Looking for blockages

Charles.

Don't forget to get the crank looked at. I feel you're pain. I've just been through all of this. I can get your conrod weighed if you need help. I also have spare rods depending on the weight, they will need to be refurbished before use.

I have only 5x what I think are Carrillo’s - no Carrillo marking but have CARR bolts and look identical to another Carrillo set I sold last year.

As per that set, sold as seen and they have not been checked - but they are weight matched (587g) and I believe singles are available

£200 shipped.

Need refurb (ones on the right, compare to Carrillo marked one on the left)
