Currently on EBay for £285.00 but would take a close offer from an IBer !

Just needs preparation and final paint. It’s been media blasted and put into primer.

Collection from Oxted, Surrey or Beckenham, Kent.

Not wanting to pi** on your parade, but that is not an early wing it is a 964 wing.

Two giveaways are the dimple in the lower rear edge where the sill cover attaches and the clips riveted to the front leading edge.

In the interests of clarity, I’ve this evening managed to contact the chap I purchased this from earlier last year. He removed it ( and the N/S ) from his 3.2 when undertaking a back - date.

However, having had a closer look, I can now see where Silver WT was coming from.

It will obviously fit an SC and a 3.2 , as that’s where it was removed from, but it looks as though it is in fact a 964 item.

It even has the areial hole in the correct location.

I will amend the listing title.

Assuming it will go straight on a 85 3.2 will you take £265 for it

Yep, but please see my last piece. It is in fact a 964 wing but as mentioned earlier, was removed from a 3.2.

PM me.

Regards, Nick.

Can someone confirm  this for me, my understanding is the 964 wing is exactly the same as the 3.2 wing with the exception of the hole for the aerial and the hole in the lower sill area that is covered by the sill cover

thanks

Tim

And the clips where the smile fits, but when fitted none of these are a problem (obviously wasnt a problem when it was on the red  3.2 early in its life!)  and being about 10 years later than first thought its probably in better condition.

Looks like a great price, get it brought.

You may need to tweak the oil cooler mounts on the back of the headlamp bowl to suit your 3.2 oil cooler and add a captive nut to where the headlamp assembly fixes.
