Upgraded forum subscription packages are now available here - this costs from just 4p a day so please consider supporting the forum. All discussion boards and technical forums will continue to be visible to all users. Forum software add-ons including the Private Messaging and Photo Uploader systems will be deprecated during August for free members.

New posts in the IB Cars and Parts Classifieds, Marketplace Discussions and Wanted Ads sections are now restricted to supporting members only. Access to the Classifieds, Marketplace Discussions and Wanted Ads section will be supporting members only from September 1st.

Note that the rules on trade adverts have not changed. IB still does not permit trade ads, but I am working on an 'IB Professional' supporter's option which may be of interest.

They are nice. 8 and 10 though, only good for widebody?

Will they not fit a narrow body, people wear 7 & 9's with spacers on a narrow body, so perhaps they could.

Not with those offsets and 10" rears will foul either the inner or outer wing with any offset (unless you ran some crazy stretched thin tyres!).

Better described as "shims" than spacers really, e.g. 6mm on the rear with 9" Fuchs.

Might work if you have a decent amount of camber - back in my narrow arch history I had 245/45 Michie Cup1s on 9s with 14mm spacers each side and IIRC 2.5+ degrees camber and never any rubbing.  Certainly 14mm spacers should keep them off the inside.

Ruf did 10s in the rear but did have a wider flare.  I take the point that it would be very tight.  And not much choice of 245 rubber these days.
