Hi Haith, Yodel should be familiar with this address but put a note just in case not to use the post code in satnav, use the address instead (Craigneuk East Cottage or Craigneuk Road). My mob:- 07841514442

Regards,

David

Hi David,

Many thanks. All booked in for Monday. I'll get that paid up later on today 👍

Cheers

Hi David, Managed to take a snap or two of the tea-tray spoiler. It’s in the original box and has a cardboard tube across the tips of the rubber to keep it spread. Looking for £350.00 plus delivery?

Regards,

David

Tank arrived today David. Many thanks. Now trying to work out how best to protect it before installing it.

I stippled a grey epoxy onto the mine, did over a week or so adding layers each night.

Thanks Nige. Any particular epoxy? Guessing the top half can stay factory fresh black as it’s in the frunk?

I used some left overs from 121 stuff from Rustbuster, but I guess anything just as durable will do.

I use Jotun Jotamastic for any chassis type of stuff these days, you get more for your money and a wider range of colours.

Thanks chaps. That vactan site is full of products Shirish. No idea which is the one. Searched vactan on eBay but just a rust converter showing.

Going to coat the thin factory paint in rustoleum in any case and then get some epoxy stuff to overcoat the base.

Eh?  There is only one Vactan link there (At least one my phone) -  it’s rust treatment and primer for your top coat.

Yup this one https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F122473698488. Tank is brand new so no rust to convert. Looking for a topcoat epoxy coating. The stippled on finish

Thanks David. I’m sure I’ve seen a thread. Was thinking of giving the bottom half a good coat or two of rustoleum paint and then stippling on some underbody dinitrol. Might have been Andrew @fat fuchs that I saw doing it on the Targa maybe.

I used epoxy primer followed by 3M bodyguard through an appropriate spray gun Haith
