We had paper catalogs, that's what! Here's one of Matt's from 1997. Surprising how some parts have gone up dramatically, some haven't really changed. Most costly of all back then was the catalogue itself at a mighty £1!!

Nice find.

I was inspecting a car the other day and was checking through the invoices and spotted this bill from the same month and year!!

I was 40 in 1997!  - two years before the 911. Using a Golf GTi as a daily with a Marcos GT in the garage (where it still is!)

I was 24 , just finished doing up my first house  , the cheapest I could find   and driving a 2002 tii  ,great car but maybe a little uncool for a 24 yr old  at that time .

Car had done 88944 miles in September '97 according to the old MOT certificate.

37 years young, two kids, two mortgages, 5 years before I got the 911, had  Saab 93 Aero, Honda CRV.

Bloody hell I was 26 in 97. Still in uni (dragging the arrrr5e out of higher education) and had a CBR600 on the drip! Good times. Porsche wasn’t on the radar back then.

50 i wish;-)...i had always catalogues in USA , there was IMS and SSF last one is still around or Performance Products...World Pack..plenty to choose from..
