Stumbled across this listing... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1989-Porsche-911-3-2-Classic-Carrera-Club-Sport-2dr/283564291918?hash=item4205bfb74e:g:5QgAAOSwxDpd~wps

Doesn't seem like a club sport, what with a tach that shows a standard redline, electrically adjustable seats, AC, electric windows, fog lights, 2 sun visors, front luggage compartment light and a full rear deck complete with speakers. Shame there are no photos of the engine bay showing deletion of the blower motor. At least it doesn't have headlamp washers!

From an old post of Nick Moss'

the VIN should end in 5xxx.

So probably not the real thing?

do a search on the seller, this will tell you all you need to know

Absolutely, these pikeys were trying to market a 964 C2 as an RS Lightweight last year 😆😆

So I only need the 'Carrera CS' door sticker to treble the value of my 3.2 Sport - who knew! You'd really expect that anyone who knew enough about the Club Sport to actually try and buy one wouldn't be fooled for a moment. I don't think the VAD would fit through my garage door, so that's a no from me also.

Once Google had worked its magic I did enjoy reading the seller's rave reviews from all those happy punters, as well as their last full accounts on Companies House. For some strange reason the auditors seemed unhappy with how they accounted for cash sales....

All it takes is one uninformed buyer who is sucked in... and sadly they periodically come out of the woodwork...

I should have put some of those on my 88 targa and marketed it as the ultra rare Targa Sport Club Sport Lux version. Missed a trick there. Again.
