Upgraded forum subscription packages are now available here - this costs from just 4p a day so please consider supporting the forum. All discussion boards and technical forums will continue to be visible to all users. Forum software add-ons including the Private Messaging and Photo Uploader systems will be deprecated during August for free members.

New posts in the IB Cars and Parts Classifieds, Marketplace Discussions and Wanted Ads sections are now restricted to supporting members only. Access to the Classifieds, Marketplace Discussions and Wanted Ads section will be supporting members only from September 1st.

Note that the rules on trade adverts have not changed. IB still does not permit trade ads, but I am working on an 'IB Professional' supporter's option which may be of interest.

It's Friday and the forecast is good - what are you up to this weekend?

Put on a Piech smile and enjoy it, whatever you're doing. I am finishing my Polo project and wheeling the next one on to the drive...

Saturday will be spent having a haircut by my son and then, hopefully, finishing off his Uni project ready for submission. It has been a labour of love for sure.

My better half and I will be out for a drive to a pleasant open space on Sunday.

Most exciting of all I shall be buying myself a present on Sunday evening (nothing to do with the drive out, as above, but I will have to shell out for a nice piece of jewelery to balance the books......) Photos will follow.....

It's all shaping up to be a good'un :D

My 7 week weekend ends on Sunday 😪 it's been great not knowing what day of the week it is 😎

Relaxing weekend for me, Sat. will be spent building, either finishing the front of the house or actually doing some shed work

Sun I'm going to have a social distancing lunch in the garden with my mater and pater 🥰

A bit of DIY and if I get time, start planning the intake upgrade on my 924T to series 2 spec. Also will be having a very small scale, socially distanced IB meet with Longfellow (minus his IB of course).

We've got 3 lurchers.

and Stanley.

I'm suspect they may have peaked too soon and the rest of their weekend may be mostly couch based.

Plans changed today so a 70 mile jaunt in the SC through Kent down to Wadhurst and back. All very nice, not much traffic there or back on the A21 and associated roads.

Then a trip to Richmond. It was very busy! Saw some deer and collected some of these..... :D

This is excellent! Lovely dogs.

I did an inspection on Saturday which took most of the day, but spent Sunday on the Polo and got it pretty much done. Just need to clean it now and then off to eBay.

A couple of days late, but I polished my MGC and barbecued a leg of lamb. Loved every minute...

Thanks Kenny 👍

Those do look flipping good Phill. Good job

Essential trip yesterday resulted in a bit of washing which lead to polishing. I’m addicted what can I say 🤷‍♂️

Fantastic day yesterday at a pals farm. BBQ plus eldest daughters first drive in my good old Spitfire!

Fantastic little car. Been in a nice dry farm shed for 8 months. Started on the battery, warmed up and away it went! Deserves a wash and a polish.

Few more pics, as requested. No idea if it’s Brooklands Green. I just thought standard BRG. My uncle bought her in 1980, so in the family for many years. Much spent on performance and handling. A pleasant thing...
