Chris T Posted May 30, 2020 Share Posted May 30, 2020 It turns out my chimney sweep used to be a factory trained Porsche mechanic in the 80's and 90's. We met a while ago and he's been helping me with my poor running issues, he put me in touch with Russell Lewis (RSR engineering) who has also come up with some suggestions. It still isn't running right but there you are! A few evenings ago my doorbell rang and Pete the sweep had come with gifts, a full set of Porsche factory manuals for my 3.2 volumes 1-5 and a further manual for "groups 1 and 2" (engine and fuel) for a '72 onwards 2.7, given to him by another former 911 owning mate. Nice! Not for sale, very very rude as they were gifted to me, but a wonderful gift. If you live locally and need a chimney sweep I'll pass on his number.
