Webers on a 3.0: inlet manifold part number question

Recommended Posts

Yes, they will fit.
The cylinder and stud spacing will match so they can be bolted on the heads.

However, when new the manifolds would be 34 or 36mm diameter at the head side.

Depending what spec SC motor you have your ports will be 34 - 39mm (43mm SCRS).
The manifolds have plenty of metal and are very easy to open out to match your port size.

Don’t forget to match all your gaskets and isolators.
A good tip is to use a very thin layer of Hylomar blue on both sides of the gaskets.

Search for manifold insulators, isolators or intermediate flange.

The help prevent excessive heat transferring into the manifold. These are usually made from tufnol.

Build up in the following sequence:

Head, gasket, isolator, gasket, manifold.

What are you going to use for filters?

Ah yes those

I’m still undecided abut filters. I like the clean look of the trumpets, however not being over precious the car does see rain.
I do have the tubs but no lids yet.

Can I ask what to do with the cut out in the head where the injector would have been.
will gasket and isolator surface?

thanks
