Bumper Oil Cooler Duct

Phill

Recommended Posts

These are finalised. A direct replacement for the rubber trim piece, designed to replicate said piece as closely as possible. Fixes in place with M6 nuts an bolts (not supplied). These require a little sanding and a quick coat of satin black before I send them out so this increases the price a little. As always the profits go towards funding my son's Uni course. They take a while to print and prepare so there will be a delay if there are several orders.

Phill. what is the approximate size of the opening on the front?

Front opening is 76mm x 55mm and the inside opening is 92mm x 55mm or 3" x 2 1/8" and 3 5/8" x 2" in American ;)

The price is at the bottom of the first post. I don't have any left at the moment so if you are interested let me know. :)

Saw this and thought of you Phill. You could incorporate a grill in your printed design. Not sure if it’s necessary but I guess it could take a stone and stop it whacking your oil cooler.

Thanks Haith, seen this before. It would be easy for the buyer to fit their own screen if they wished, either on the front where it's visible or on the inside opening where it wouldn't be.

Think it would look neater and be stronger printed into the design. Plus an opportunity for something design led and unique. Just a thought. I deffo need a 3D printer lol.

Bump.

I have two of these ready to go. I'm not planning to make any more due to lack of time (and inclination :-). ) Refer to the top of the thread for the description and ignore the last five posts.
