Only a week away and I’m getting excited.  I am planning on getting there early, anyone else!

There is early and then there is Ian Comerford early? We're planning to arrive earlyish, around 6pm

We enjoyed the German evening tonight, a very nice narrow bodied IB with whale tail arrived just before we left, anyone on here?

I’ve got a ticket for the air cooled night. I’m taking the afternoon off, so should be there good and early. 👍

@Ian Comerford shall I bring that steering rack… and you can bring the pedals for a bit of good old fashioned pub car park parts exchanging?  Like the old days at the Bull!

I'm so excited I can't wait until Thurs.

To pass the time I'm spending most of tomorrow going to check out some cars up for sale at this auction

Umm.... it's on Wednesday...

That's an eclectic mix of cars.

Just glanced through but the estimates seem low?

There does appear to be some sensibly priced stuff there and an interesting mix.  Any favourites Stephen?

Going by past sales the prices are usually on the sensible side, more so than more centrally located sales

Some cars hid their rust well in pictures eg Porsche SC Targa and especially the blue Aston Virage which was a rot box and some were much more solid than I was expecting eg the gold Mercedes SEC

Went up for a day out with my son, was like a car show but without the crowds, was very well managed

My son loved this one, it was spot on, would make a perfect 1st classic for him if we had space, the interior was a fantastic example of the 80's, think the rear carpet must have been Labradoodle skin

I could quite happily own any of these,

and even this one

Not far for you Ian, I'd 100% recommend having a look at their next sale, they always seem to find some great affordable cars for their classic sales
