I'd put aside some time morning to replace the aerial on my car as the old one's seen better days. However, and apologies if I'm missing something obvious here but after 20 minutes of searching I couldn't for the life of me work out how to get to it!

LHD car so it's located at the rear of the NSF wing just ahead of the driver.

Any advice gratefully received.

It's it before or after the fuel filler?

When I ditched my electric aerial I seem to remember only undoing the top nut and a bracing piece under the wing and it just came out.

When you say nearside do you mean here in the UK or in Europe?

Just for info:

Regardless of LHD/RHD, the factory fitted electric aerials in the non-fuel filler wing. Manual aerials were usually fitted on the drivers side.

Is it safe to assume that the aerial on your car is behind the filler neck?  If so you may have to remove the steel pipe which goes from the filler opening into the boot.

It'll be the whole thing, I don't think it's the original unit/original spec unit and I'm thinking I'll replace with a manual.

It's between the fuel filler and the windscreen an I meant nearside in the UK.

I'll take another look when I can to see if removal of the filler neck will help.
