Engine fan repair?

Timmy

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have acquired an engine fan that has been damaged on the spigot that receives/locates the outer part of the pulley. I suspect the outer pulley wasn't tightened sufficiently at some point. Other than this damage the fan is in better aesthetic condition than the one on my car. Is this danage economically repairable?  Thanks Tim20210715_113934.thumb.jpg.2fda3b3122eb44d8a04feac3ce3ea79e.jpg20210715_113958.thumb.jpg.710cb371ce7ce3917a505bc1bfb79b22.jpg

You could swap the damaged centre for your good centre. Alternatively, that gouge, if that's what the damage is could be welded up and refinished. Should cost too much to do.
