SOLD: 1974 911 2.7 Targa

I’ve relisted as I’ve now converted the car back to stock - most enquiries asked what would be involved so I just did it . 

This is my 74 built 1975 model year targa , finished as original in light yellow . Its a 2.7 with a manual 4 speed and is a numbers matching car .
I have gone over the motor renewing all the seals and gaskets including all the hard to reach ones on the top of engine underneath the intake . Manifold gaskets were changed at the same time and the injection has been gone through . All required hoses and oil return tubes have been changed . Whilst the engine was disassembled and out I checked all the head studs and fitted a new 3 piece clutch and thrust washer . I have also done plugs , dizzy cap , rotor coil and points The rear spring plates were changed to adjustable ones and I have fitted Yokohama geolander AT tyres and have less than 1000 miles on them . These are fitted to the original cookie cutter wheels and these are in a great refurbed condition. The front bumper is an original US spec bumper although the car was delivered to Germany originally so is a Euro spec . Under the hood is a new petrol tank - all discs etc are in very good order and it's had new stainless braided hoses and new callipers all round .The bodywork is in very good condition with no rust and the same can be said of the Underside , there is no rust al all under the car or under the arches , it's all very good which is rare for a car like this 

The interior is in good if not perfect interior with black vinyl front and rear seats - I have added a yellow tartan cloth to brighten it a bit . I made new cards , changed the openers to pulls and the door shut to a separate pull handle - I also fitted a pair of pioneer speakers that are powered by a blaupunkt Toronto stereo with Bluetooth . there is no rust under the car as all this was addressed previously and it?s well done and under sealed . 

 

All in all its a great entry into classic 911 ownership and it?s ready to go - I use this a lot and it really is a turn key car regularly doing 2 hour plus drives to shows and meetings .Ready for someone to use and enjoy whilst continuing to improve . A sure fire investment,
