How do you get away with it on the 964 come MOT time. Swap them back back to Halogens for the day or just a Friendly MOT tester?

In a way I can see that that they don't want idiots blinding everybody with cheap Chinese knockoffs, but having a regulations that pre-1986 its fine to replace them, but post-1986 they are an instant failure, seems a bit of a farce. Surely it's more about beam pattern and aim.

I have similar LED bulbs and it passed its MOT recently, I think its down to how the tester!

The same garage has been MOT'ing my car for several years with the same bulbs so that may have helped

Photos please!

Only have this as didn’t take photos during install.  Took a few minutes to do, plenty of space for drivers. Will add to my non Porsche classics as well. Colour temp is excellent . Very impressed.

Which did you get in the end: the Classic Car LED H4 bulbs with the separate drivers?

If so, are the drivers just loose in the space between the light unit and the bowl?

Yes and yes , though i may go in and use some double sided tape to try and attach them - the bowl is , well bowl like so no flat surfaces.

Btw - also did the interior dome lights with the warm white led from the same company. Absolutely perfect.
