Gilk's Garage Cafe Meet Up - Sunday 27 March

As there seems to be some interest in meeting up to stand around a car park nattering about b*ll*cks I think I have an ideal meet up place....

A 3rd generation family owned business, started off as a black smith's, then a garage and just before COVID reinvent into a motoring themed cafe with a warm, friendly welcome. Especially for dogs too!

It's centrally located in the village of Kineton, Warwickshire, only a few minutes drive from M40 Jct 12, should be convenient for most people for a 9ish to 10ish am arrival time. Local roads are not a bad drive or too over crowded! 

Don't have a particular date in mind but was thinking March/Apr (avoiding school holidays) before the car show season kicks off. Or earlier if it's too long a wait

As a group it's best to reserve a date ahead to get the out front car parking spots and to help Gilk's prepare for folk descending on mass

Happy to do the leg work of booking it up but to gauge interest all I need is yes/maybe, preferred Sat/Sun date and how many of you need feeding and parking

Yep, this sounds good. Weekends are tricky to accommodate due to kids' stuff but will try and fit in with whatever emerges as a preferred day. 

Probably not too bothered about food if during a morning.

Yes, will chat tomorrow with the owner and come back with a firm date

I count 12 interested so far so I'll ask to block book 10 IB parking spaces at the front on a 1st come 1st served basis, more than enough car parking on the road so no worries about finding a place

Will aim for a 9am to 10am arrival window to allow for sleepy heads and long drives

A few dates are available but to make it easier for everyone I've booked us in for

Sunday 27 March arrival time 9am to 10am and we have reserved parking (just follow the signs)

All members in all cars welcome, really looking forward to standing in a car park talking b*ll*x with like minded folk 😎
