We had a lovely family party last weekend celebrating our eldest daughter’s birthday and a house guest brought Covid with him. SWMBO and I tested positive Monday and have felt a bit shabby for much of the week, but have felt better yesterday and this morning. Took an optimistic test an hour ago and 😞. I should complete two negative tests before returning to civilisation so may be out for tomorrow. The other version is I get a negative test tomorrow morning and come along but stay in my car and shout at all of you from the other side of the car park……. I was very much looking forward to this. Maybe someone could throw a bacon roll over from a safe distance? Bugger!

Ian, still come along, mother's day bookings have taken up all the inside tables, we will be all outside round the back out in the fresh air You can stand in the naughty corner, we can shout to you and my son will be working, he's been jabbed, had it to so can get your bacon roll for you

I do feel much better today though so if I get a negative test in the morning I may be there for an appropriately distanced, masked catch up. Let’s see
