axel Posted May 27, 2022 Share Posted May 27, 2022 Been a while but the project is progressing nicely. 88 930 turbo, backdated to a 2.8 RSR. Easier to backdate something that already has the wider RSR shell! arches needed some work though. Engine is a Richard Chamberlain built 3.25L Longstroke , GT3 crank and on AT Power ITBs - hooked onto Motec. Off to dyno and wiring now - new loom. Hoping for 320+ bhp. Gearbox G50, lower gearing for pickup and go. KW 3-way coilovers. f**k me has it been expensive but the end product hopefully will be lush. 964 brakes front, 930 turbo rear. 15 fuchs braids. on michelin TBs.. JE pistons mahle barrels. Schrick 320/308 Cams. RSR rocker arms. Its on AT Power Throttle bodies, and run by MoTec. 316 BHP and around 350 NM. I did a backdate from Supersport to 1974 Iroc and you are right the arches are not exactly the same but no one ever pointed it out! Apparently they can be reprofiled.
