I'll get a pic of the location in the morning, but looking at the weave on the back of the fibre glass, I'd almost guarantee that is a genuine'76 tail that had a LH rear wiper. They all crack between the frame and fibreglass. The rubber is harder to find than the tail in my opinion and the studs snap when you try to remove it. Ironically I will be repairing mine tomorrow if the first start goes OK. Edited February 18, 2023 by hagarep 1
gt two Posted February 19, 2023 Author Posted February 19, 2023 Took a magnet to it, seems to be metal framed. I think as @hagarep said it may be original. Not bad for free!
hagarep Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 (edited) Part number can be found on metal centre support just above latch pin. Also on rubber tail, which can be seen imprinted in the paint. You can also see how mine has cracked since being painted! Edited February 21, 2023 by hagarep 1
