Hi

can anyone let me know what the thread size is for the fuel lines .

as the come from the tunnel there female threads and at the accumulator there the same thread.

I continue to struggle to get the hoses made up. the pressure line from the tunnel to the accumulator and the return line from engine to the tunnel.

also do both lines have the same internal dimensions,  they are the same at the tunnel

any assistance appreciated

regards Keith

They are not bsp as I was told at the hose place, they are metric something ?

IIRC, most are either M14 or M12x1.5 female .  Be aware that some have a special convex orifice.

When I redid my pipes I was able to use all of the original metal fittings bar the U-bend and one female nut (I was able to reuse the concave central bit).  I sourced these from flea-bay.

Thanks  peter

if anyone has some old hoses that are knackered I’d like the ends off them and I’ll get the new hoses fitted to them.

wishing I hadn’t dumped them when the hoses were shot. 😬

minefield sorting this small but taxing issue

cheers , keith

Which pipes are you trying to match, metal or plastic? Can you show me on a diagram Keith?

Keith,

I have new tunnel lines lying here and plan on putting them in my car this month. I would be more than happy to send you the old ones or take measurements on the new lines. Just let me know what measurements you need (of my 76 911).

Org porsches lines I bought for 139 eur (pressure) and 159 eur (return).

Hi all

cant seem to find a diagram for lines, these I’m assured are no longer available but there not the tunnel lines I have both of them new in the car , got from Porsche tonbridge, Kent, they had one in stock and the other was 2 days.
it’s the lines from where they exit the tunnel up to the accumulator and onto the engine (return)

In the engine bay sone cars were metal and some like mine were crimped ends rubber

it’s these engine bay lines are the issue,

there roughly 1400 and 1600 mm lengths

I have recently purchased from my local main Porsche dealer the two fuel hoses that run from the rear tunnel to the accumulator and from the tunnel rear to the engine .

this has been difficult parts to find and confirm they will work perfectly but I have the information in case anyone requires it as the original parts are no longer available

911 1976 2.7s genuine Porsche parts £146 the pair inc vat perfect fit and lengths

pressure line fuel hose 911 356 066 16

return line fuel hose 911 356 062 15
