Rear wiper issue

Had the car in for some paintwork on engine cover and spoiler, had to separate spoiler from cover etc and they removed engine cover from car to paint it. I’ve reassembled everything and looks great apart from wiper motor just rotates round and round jamming against the motor bracket and (if I’m not quick enough it blows 25a fuse 3 in the engine bay)not half a turn and back, I suspected the motor so bought one of eBay and it does exactly the same. Looking at the wiring diagram it shows a diode which I can’t seem to find so as anyone got any ideas where to find this diode or any ideas what could be wrong, thanks in advance
