I got a set recently when I had my top end surprise.

NGK BR9ES Porsche 99917016290 Spark plug for Porsche 911 2.7 / 3.0 SC 1974-83 - 99917016290/3::1 | Design 911 (design911shop.com)

Just checked the boxes - all 6 are the same.

Shown as correct plug for 1982 SC - now concerned these may not be correct.

Bosch Super Plus WR7DC came out (fitted at rebuild by Chris at Fenn Lane).

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If the W3CCs are no longer made I suppose, in-line with Jonny's recommendations, I should look for NGK B9ES plugs.  A few people list them but there’s always the concern about counterfeit parts, so ebay is probably not the place to buy.  Any thoughts on Euro Car Parts in terms of their control of counterfeit parts?  Thank you

Any thoughts or experiences on the above?  Thank you

It's frustrating when a company doesn't understand the implications of what they are sending to customers.

Parts for a classic 911 - someone's pride and joy.

Were not talking 20 year old Nissan Micra - if it fits in the hole it will do!

Someone should send a link for this thread to D911 - they need to get this under control and get some staff training completed.

Can you still get the Bosch Super 4 in SC fitment?

WR56 were the SC Super 4 plugs, again, now NLA

WR7DC are listed for all the old water cooled cars, not for 911

Brilliant, thanks Matthew.  I have just heard from DPD that they are going to deliver my new plugs from D911 between 0930 and 1030 today so guess that by 1045 I will be on your site buying these……

They are, on time as usual and guess what, this time they managed to send six of the same which is an improvement but still not what I ordered!!!  I’ve sent them back, asked for a refund and am about to order from someone who usually sends what is ordered……..

I ordered a pair of K&N filters to suit 'S' rain hats from D911.

One of the filters was manufactured incorrectly and they sent a replacement out quickly - didn't even bother to collect the faulty part.

We need the specialist suppliers to keep our cars on the road and it's very disappointing to see standards slipping.

For consumables like plugs, I am very lucky to have a traditional motor factors in my local town but the guys running the place must well past retirement age and what happens when the decide to call it a day?

Several years ago, I had a 7 type race car. The front lower wishbone ball joint was Austin Maxi.

Phoned a local Unipart centre to order replacements - conversation went something like this:

L - 'Pair of lower ball joints for a Austin Maxi please'

Up - 'What is the registration number of the vehicle?'

L - 'I dont have the vehicle registration but they are the same part for all Austin Maxis'

Up - ' What is an Austin Maxi?'

This obviously made me feel very old and I could have gone through a classic car website to get a sample Maxi registration number.

Fortunately my local factor had them on the shelf, along with the drag links from Ford Transit required for the top joint.

They were also able to cross reference a rotor-arm to suit an SC but without the rpm limiter.

Apparently they aren’t asking for the plugs back and are leaving them with me.  Anyone want 5 x BR9ES and 1 x B8ES plugs very cheaply, ie postage?

A. if at all poss avoid D911?

B. if at all poss don’t avoid T911?

is that too many morals?

I'm sure there are people out there who are happy with their interaction but I used them a couple of times many years ago and they were hopeless.  I only went to them for the plugs because Matthew didn’t stock them at the time.  I have no idea of how they have grown so much given this experience.  Anyway, onward and upward.

Matt - what would you suggest for my 3.2 pls?  just putting a service order together via you, fuel, spark and oil and air.  just an interim 3k mile service

Porsche list WR4CC for the 3.2, these are NLA, so its either the NGK BR8ES or the non resistor NGK B8ES.

I do have one set of Bosch W4CC in stock

Ta, why would you have non resistor if I went with the NGK?

Our Johnny mentioned that resistor plugs are not needed..................................
