Front sub frame repair

Hello all,

   noticed that one of the bolt holes in the front sub frame, has suffered quite a bit of electrolytic corrosion,, to extent the edge of the bracket is now close to the threads. Its the bolt hole for one of the front anti roll brackets. Anyone had this before , is letting some new Aluminum with a Tig weld a viable repair?

As this seems to be quite a  common problem:, this is what found was out yes: a specialist in Tig welding could repair the corrosion, however prior in order avoid possible distortion , I would need to fabricate a jig. In the end was not economical to repair , sourced replacement from DF Classics..
