Quite Like This....

I  think I quite like that too. My first thought was that it was some sort of scaled down children's car as the seats look out of proportion.

I suppose for me its all down to cost, if you can buy the kit at a sensible price and attach it to an aging Boxter its quite a fun thing.

Apparently this is built on a 986 Boxster and it’s €7900 for the kit. Plus alloys, donor car etc.

Or €25k for him to build you one, (plus donor car and wheels)

£10-15k donor car + £20k

Seems like good value to me 🤔

Plenty of other cars I'd buy before this but still think it's one of the best looking Porsche back date look conversions yet

Nice looking conversion but I would offer the problem with old Boxsters isn't so much their bodywork but their running gear and the woeful parts quality when Porsche switched to the 986/996...

Mike Ashgood races 986's as his hobby, reckons they are quite robust as long as the IMS has been upgraded, the other Achilles Heel is the gearbox that can break and is costly to repair but I wonder % wise how many actually have broken from the total production numbers.

So perhaps the risk adverse will ask can/has it be done to a 987?
